FILM 2050: LEAP YEAR

TRIVIA: Matthew Goode later went on record saying that he reckoned that the film was one of the year's worst. He admitted that he took the role because it allowed him to fly home back to London on weekends.

The lake where the wedding scene takes place is where a large part of the television series Vikings (2013) is filmed in County Wicklow.

The bridge on which Anna and Declan have the conversation about his ex-fiancée is in St. Stephen's Green, a well-known park in central Dublin.

At breakfast at the B&B, Anna is told that trains are not running because it's Sunday. She says that she needs to be in Dublin the next day which is the 29th of February (leap year). February 29th fell on a Monday in 1960, 1988, and 2016.

According to the director, the film is inspired by I Know Where I'm Going! (1945).
